How was it?

This page is what we think about the garden now it is finished. (You can also find out what people think about all the work that went into building the garden.)

It is a good idea. It brightens the Centre up. It's a good environment and it helps people to relax and feel safe, instead of wandering the streets, drinking, being hasseled by police, security and some members of the public.

- Gabriel, May 2002

I like the garden because you can drink and socialise in a little bit of niceness in the middle of the concrete monsters, especially as there is no hassle.

- Peter, May 2002

Myself, Frank, Robert, Matt, Joe, Donald built a fish pond for 2 carp and as well for the people of the Booth Centre. It took us six people to rip out + build a new fish pond. It's brilliant to look at. I'm very proud of it.

- Mark, January 2006

The garden is good because you can get a cup of tea at 9 o'clock when the drop-in opens. There is also a fish pond and flowers so you don't get bored of the scenery.

- Adam, January 2006

Lovely flowers and a pond with two fish (which would go well with chips).

- John McLaughlin, January 2006

It's excellent because people can be close to the nature and close to the God.

- Chantelle, January 2006

It's good place to be in the summer, not so good in the winter when it's cold and raining.

- Geoff, January 2006

It's a little piece of heaven.

- Hazel, February 2006

It's good place you can have a drink and not worry about it getting poured away.

- Jason, February 2006

The garden is important part of the centre. You can come to express and create an area and enjoy the beauty of the garden and the atmosphere it offers. It is a place where you can reflect with peace and talk to others where support is the main attraction.

- Gary Summers, February 2006

It is nice to look at but a little bit cold in the February.

- Paul, February 2006
