Paul Browning

My name is Paul. I've lived in Manchester for about 2 years now. I live in a place called Ancoats about 10mins frome the centre. At the weekend I work at Animals in Distress in a place called Irlam. I've been comeing to the centre for about 1&1/2 years. I also work at the allotment, with the Booth Centre. We've bought the seeds (sweetcorn, radishs and turnips) and we're going to plant them between March and April. We've got lots of plants, like onions and cabbages, coliflowers but the sweetcorn is mine! I will plant the seeds. I went into a cafe to get some egg boxes for the spuds. You have plant spuds individually so they get the root. Then you transfer them to the allotment. When they've grown, people at the Booth Centre can eat them.

i go to the allotment on a wednesday i do about 1/2 a day becaues has it is winter you cant;do to much has the ground is to hard to dig and you cant plant to much there is about for of use that do the plot we are thinking aboat getting a secound plot the reson i got in to the allotment becuease i work on the land when i wos a kid and ilike doing things out door it will soon be time to plant the spuds there are lots and lots of spuds we have got lots of seeds to plant .At the weekend 2or3 whent to put up a cold frame.i,v not been up three for about 2, week but im planing to go up 2 times this week.

well i;v potted most of the seeds peas ‘beans'sweetcorn ect’. and there all doing great. well you have to put some of the seeds in small pots and put them in a coldframe or greenhouse so they will grow better well we got the greenhouse last week but we have not put it up yet as we have to get it bolt't to the floor well we put the plants in the ground last week ,beans peas and runer beans and some beans have to grow up poles.
