Supported Employment

Our Supported Employment Project helps people to take up and sustain part time employment. Our Project Worker matches people with work placements and provides ongoing support to the employee and the employer when needed. People earn the minimum wage (currently £5.35 an hour) under the “permitted work” rule without it affecting their benefits, with the agreement of the Benefits Agency.

In 2004 we produced an evaluation report of the project which you can download.

We are always in need of new work placements. Please download an information leaflet which explains how you could help.
